TVS Eurogrip recently participated in the 12th edition of the Krishi Darshan Expo, held between 17th and 19th February in Hisar, Haryana. The expo, organised by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and NRFMTTI, Hisar, provided a platform for showcasing a diverse range of agriculture and off-highway tyres at stall OA-32.

In a pioneering move for the Indian market, TVS Eurogrip introduced an extensive array of sizes from the Tigertrac R-1W tractor radial portfolio. With India witnessing a burgeoning market for agricultural tractors and a continuous influx of modern tractor models from leading manufacturers, radial tractor tyres have emerged as a game-changer. They offer enhanced traction, efficient self-cleaning properties, improved load-carrying capacity compared to bias equivalents, and superior driving comfort - a crucial factor given the absence of suspension systems in tractors, making tyres the primary shock-absorbing component.

Additionally, TVS Eurogrip showcased a wide range of implement tyres, catering to various towed implements in 12, 15.3, and 16-inch rim sizes. Among these, the IM 18 pattern gained prominence for its versatility, finding widespread use in balers, small trailers, and tankers globally. Another notable tyre on display was the PT 09, highly acclaimed for power tillers and hand tractors, boasting a high-traction tread design and a robust carcass with a cut and tear-resistant compound.

The expo also featured TVS Eurogrip’s agricultural tyre range for diverse applications such as sugarcane harvesters, balers, trailers, power tillers, and reapers. Notably, the 16.9-28 Industrial tyres showcased for sugarcane harvesters are designed to endure severe underfoot conditions and stubble damage. The TVS Eurogrip BL 09 stood out with its strong carcass, cut and tear-resistant compound, and non-directional tread design featuring blocks and lugs, making it an ideal choice for cane harvesters in dry and wet conditions. Its inter-lugs provide robust puncture protection, while the ‘Y’ block lugs ensure stable and smooth road transport service.

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has announced the new Cooper WORK Series Regional Haul All-position (RHA) 2 tyre for super-regional and regional all-position commercial vehicle applications.

Designed for super-regional and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) fleets, the Cooper WORK Series RHA 2 tyre provides the fuel efficiency of a long-haul tyre and the toughness of a high-scrub regional tyre. The tyre is SmartWay-verified and offers long distances to removal and even-wear for the growing super-regional commercial vehicle category.

Falken has reiterated its commitment to offer tyres for all road and weather conditions to its dealers and consumers this summer. The tyre maker is ready with its summer product portfolio that includes tyres for lorry, electric vehicles (EV), ultra, super-ultra-high-performance as well as motorsport and off-road tyres.

The newly launched Falken AZENIS RS820, the new generation of super-ultra-high-performance tyres designed for ambitious sports car drivers, leads the summer lineup. For speeds of up to 300 km/h, the tyre will be offered in 40 sizes ranging from series 30 to 45 with diameters of 19 to 21 inches. The Tyre Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence nominated the AZENIS RS820 for ‘Tyre of the Year’.

The Falken e. ZIEX is available in 29 sizes in series 40 to 65, with diameters ranging from 15 to 21 inches. It was initially created for EVs, but drivers of internal combustion engine vehicles that value environmental performance and fuel economy are also targeted. The Falken AZENIS FK520 UHP summer tyre comes in 129 dimensions, from 17 to 21-inch diameters in series 30 to 65. All specifications are also satisfied by the Falken ZIEX ZE320, which comes in 60 sizes with a diameter of 16 to 18 inches in series 45 to 65. The tyre provides excellent noise reduction.

The EUROALL SEASON AS220 PRO is an all-weather tyre developed specifically for vehicles that are all about performance. Fo speeds up to 270 km/h, it is available in 54 sizes from 17 to 21-inch diameters in series 35 to 65. The WILDPEAK R/T 01 is aimed at heavy pick-ups and SUVs that love off-road tracks. The R/T model from Falken is available in eight sizes with 17 to 20-inch diameters from series 55 to 70. Finally, the LINAM VAN 01 summer tyre is aimed at transporters and vans. It is available in 37 sizes in series 55 to 82 in 12 to 17-inch diameter with the speed index R / S / T / H.

Kordsa, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding, has achieved the top score of A in both Climate Change and Water themes of the CDP 2024 annual sustainability ratings. This is Kordsa’s first time on the A list by the global environmental non-profit organisation.
