Featuring vec2Sil silica compound technology, the tyre aims to maximise fuel efficiency for long-distance haulage and electric trucks. Hinnerk Kaiser, Head of Product Development EMEA, said the tyre helps customers meet carbon reduction targets.
Key features include reduced rolling resistance, higher load index, and improved performance in wet and snowy conditions. The tyre complies with EU Regulations 2019/2400 and 2019/1241.
“With the new Conti EfficientPro 5, we are helping our customers to meet stringent carbon reduction targets, lower their operating costs and get ready for a future with electric drive systems,” says Hinnerk Kaiser, Head of Product Development EMEA at Continental.
“Following an intensive development phase, our Conti EfficientPro 5 provides a solution that meets the demands of long-distance haulage today.” The vec2Sil technology delivers a combination of reduced rolling resistance and high mileage.
