Passenger Vehicle Forum 2024 Concludes On a High Note

The 2nd Edition of the Passenger Vehicle Forum (PVF) successfully took place on 4 September, 2024, at Hyatt Regency, Pune. The event brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions on the future of the Indian passenger vehicle sector. Tyre Trends was the official media partner for the event.
The event saw over 60 speakers, more than 300 attendees, and 25 exhibitors, sharing their perspective, exchanging ideas, networking, and gaining insights into the passenger vehicle industry's current challenges and opportunities.
The 2nd edition of PVF also featured focused technical sessions (Tech Drive Insights) on critical topics such as automotive electronics, SDVs, in-vehicle cockpits of tomorrow, AI and cybersecurity. These sessions covered the entire automotive segments including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, off-highway and two-wheelers.
The event started with an inaugural presentation given by Puneet Gupta, Director (India & ASEAN region), S&P Global Mobility on ‘Navigating the road ahead: India’s Passenger Vehicle Market Forecast and Trends’.
This was followed by a presentation by Pranshu Gupta, Founder & CEO, Trak N Tell, where he spoke about how telematics solutions are revolutionising vehicular intelligence. He also touched upon how their robust systems harness satellite tracking, predictive analytics, and IoT technology to provide, predictive insights, and advanced diagnostics to ensure vehicle safety, security, and performance optimisation.
A key highlight of the event was the dual-track conference sessions running in parallel, allowing participants to choose discussions that aligned with their specific interests. These sessions covered a crowd-sourced agenda driven by contributions from hundreds of industry professionals, ensuring that the content was highly relevant and engaging. Throughout the event, prominent speakers and industry experts engaged in dynamic panel discussions and presentations.
