Rapper Ice Cube And Goodyear Blimp Unite For Anniversary Tour

In a unique cultural partnership, Goodyear and American rapper Ice Cube are collaborating throughout the year to celebrate his classic hits, including a notable lyric from his 1993 single: Even saw the lights of the Goodyear Blimp and it read, 'Ice Cube's a Pimp'. The campaign connects the 100th anniversary of the Goodyear Blimp with Ice Cube's Truth to Power: 4 Decades of Attitude tour.
The collaboration officially launched on 24th August with a blimp flyover at the BIG3 Championship basketball finals in Orlando, a league founded by the artist. This continues the airship's storied tradition of appearing at major events. The partnership will extend to select concerts on Ice Cube's upcoming tour. Attendees in cities including Denver, San Diego, Los Angeles and Cleveland will experience the iconic Goodyear Blimp both in the sky above the venues and through integrated elements inside the arenas, offering fans a distinctive concert experience. This initiative brings to life the classic lyric, merging music history with a century of aviation legacy.
Ice Cube said, "From the beginning, I always thought you had to dream big if you really wanted to make it big. The idea of the Goodyear Blimp championing my name was a metaphor for the sky being the limit, yet here we are with Goodyear as a partner and the blimp flying in the Orlando skies, saying, 'Ice Cube's a Pimp!'. I'm honoured to have Goodyear sponsoring my Truth to Power tour, where we will take people through a musical journey over my four-decade career."

Prometeon Tyre Group, a leading company in the commercial, agricultural and OTR tyre sectors, is displaying its advanced Serie 02 radial tyres at the ongoing Agritechnica 2025, the world’s largest trade fair for agricultural machinery, which is being held in Hannover, Germany, from 9 to 15 November 2025. The company is featuring its AT02 model, a key part of its agricultural line, within the Sindipeças exhibit, a Brazilian automotive components association. This highlights a natural link to Brazil, where Prometeon manufactures these tyres at its Gravataí and Santo André facilities.
The Serie 02 range, designed for tractors (AT02), harvesters (H02) and sprayers (SX02), incorporates significant technological advancements. Its design includes reinforced lugs and an optimised tread that enhance traction and self-cleaning while reducing fuel consumption. The radial structure utilises advanced polymers to create a larger footprint, which improves load distribution, minimises soil compaction and boosts overall productivity. Built for durability, these tyres offer excellent resistance to cuts, chipping and wear. Their versatility ensures reliable performance across diverse terrains and conditions, including road travel, where they provide safety, comfort and dependable handling.

Continental Opens New Premium Tyre Dealership In Indore

German tyre major Continental Tires has inaugurated a new Continental Premium Drive (CPD) dealership in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The new outlet, operated by Tyre Tune Up, strengthens Continental’s retail presence in central India.
The new CPD store, spread across 3,000 sqft, is located in Mechanic Nagar, Indore. It is designed as a one-stop destination offering Continental’s premium tyre portfolio alongside advanced services such as computerised wheel alignment, precision wheel balancing, nitrogen inflation and premium alloy wheels.
Indore was chosen for its status as a commercial and cultural hub with an expanding vehicle base, aligning with Continental’s expansion strategy. Tyre Tune Up has been a part of Indore’s automotive journey since 1956.
Samir Gupta, Managing Director, Continental Tires India, said, “With this new CPD store in Indore, we are bringing Continental’s promise of safety, innovation, and driving comfort closer to customers in Madhya Pradesh.
