Continental Tires, a leading manufacturer of premium tyres, unveiled its flagship Continental Premium Drive (CPD) dealership in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru.

This marks a significant step in the company’s commitment to providing premium tyre solutions to car enthusiasts in the region.

The new 4,000-square-foot store expands Continental’s retail presence in India. This state-of-the-art facility aims to redefine the customer experience by offering a comprehensive range of cutting-edge tyres and services. Boasting the title of Bengaluru’s largest tyre and alloy wheel outlet, the CPD dealership exemplifies Continental’s dedication to delivering excellence and innovation.

Apollo Tyres Ltd, through its Vredestein premium tyre brand, successfully organised its latest ‘Soccer School’ event in Hungary in collaboration with Manchester United. This marks the eleventh Soccer School event hosted by Apollo Tyres and Manchester United.

At a sports facility next to Apollo Tyres' Gyöngyöshalász manufacturing facility, the event was planned for the children of the company's workers. Thirty-three children took part in an exclusive two-hour training session at Dr Fejes András Sport Centre in the town of Gyöngyös. Manchester United Soccer School Coaches provided professional-level instruction to the participants, who were split into two age groups. The facility included a range of pitches with various surfaces, allowing the kids to practice in a variety of game-like situations. Denis Irwin, a legend of Manchester United, attended the training session as a special guest. As a keepsake of the event, attendees were given authentic Manchester United uniforms.

The Manchester United Soccer Schools initiative, which began in 1999 and has since expanded to over 500,000 participants in 90 countries, focuses on football instruction while also fostering confidence, collaboration and personal development.

Through the BU JOY YOUR JOURNEY WITH BRIDGESTONE event in March, six student teams from the School of Communication Arts, Event Production and MICE Management programme submitted innovative ideas that mirrored the varied travel habits of the younger generations while establishing a smooth connection with the premium tyre company Bridgestone. Autopromotec 2025, the 30th edition of the international exhibition specially dedicated to the automotive aftermarket, is all set to open tomorrow in Bologna, Italy. The event is scheduled to be held from 21 to 24 May 2025 and coincides with the 60th anniversary of the fair.
